Thinking of everyone in Paris and Beirut affected by these cowardly attacks. Every day, somewhere in the world, hatred and violence spills the blood of innocents. It depresses me. And enrages me. I try & stay optimistic that our species will eventually figure out how to live in peace, but lately it feels like we're taking five steps back for every one step forward.
Our hearts go out to the families of everyone who lost their lives.

This is Kiki. She bartended at one of our gigs last time we hit France & has supported us ever since. Ended up chilling at her place after last night's show- she made pasta and kept the apple & cinnamon liqueur flowing.
We're usually squashing 4 airbeds into one tiny room on tour... Kiki crashed in her spare room so we could take over her entire apartment. It was awesome to get some space.
Breakfast this morning was freshly baked bread, butter & cheese from the local village & home made jam. FOODGASM. Checking out the ruins of an old fort later today.
Thank you Belfort!
You guys rocked as usual. Belfort was one of the first places we ever played in France. It was a tiny crowd back then... This time it sold out!
Shout out to all our French fans for spreading the word & Alex for organising a great night.
Drove here after our gig in Germany on Thursday. Four years on & it still blows our mind when we cross borders without being stopped or asked for passports. The EU is an amazing thing for a band living on the road.
The German show was in a small village on the French border. A smoky little bar with slot machines & old dudes who smelled like cigars... When you get to a gig like that you know it's gonna go 1 of 2 ways: it'll either be pumping because it's the only thing happening in town, or it'll be like playing at your granfather's bridge club.
Luckily it was packed out & went off. A bunch of kids from the surrounding towns turned up too. Killer night! Been working on a lot of management stuff atm so it was f#%king great to rock out again.
Currently enjoying some red wine in the French town of Belfort...
