Made it to Hamburg! We're crashing with the guys from the band we're playing with- planned to go out last night but we were still pretty hung over from the Leverkusen afterparty. Ended up playing GTA & having a quiet night in.

Spent today chilling at the docks & watching the ships roll by. Ate some awesome fish burgers. We don't get much downtime so it was great to just stop for a while, mediate & re-centre.

Heading to a dive bar on The Reeperbahn (Hamburg's red light district) for soundcheck now. Tonight's gonna be a fun gig!

Morning y'all! Well, afternoon really. Today is one of those days that makes you wish every GPS had a "hangover" button. It would take you to the nearest fast food joint, followed by the grocery store for aspirin.

Last night was epic- one of the best gigs of the tour. We played in a warehouse in Leverkusen that was turned into a venue back in the 70's. The kids there are volunteers & they've built a killer band scene. They get a little funding from the council too. Every city needs places like that.

On the road for Hamburg now. Reeperbahn here we come.

Thanks for an awesome night Leverkusen. It's rare to find such a healthy independent music scene- keep it alive. Can't...

HELLO FRANCE!

Drove here after our gig in Germany on Thursday. Four years on & it still blows our mind when we cross borders without being stopped or asked for passports. The EU is an amazing thing for a band living on the road.

The German show was in a small village on the French border. A smoky little bar with slot machines & old dudes who smelled like cigars... When you get to a gig like that you know it's gonna go 1 of 2 ways: it'll either be pumping because it's the only thing happening in town, or it'll be like playing at your granfather's bridge club.

Luckily it was packed out & went off. A bunch of kids from the surrounding towns turned up too. Killer night! Been working on a lot of management stuff atm so it was f#%king great to rock out again.

Currently enjoying some red wine in the French town of Belfort...
